Is the 12 months for £99 gift card no longer available?

Hi, my subscription expires tomorrow and I was planning on renewing it with a 12 month gift card, as I did last year. However I've found it's no longer available to buy anywhere. Have Spotify stopped doing this?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

According to the info we've available, the 12 months gift card should still be available in some European countries including Germany, Spain, France, Great Britain and others. If you cannot find it, we'd recommend checking different retailers or try to purchase a code online in official stores.

However, if you cannot find it, we'd recommend using a different payment method as it's possible that you could be located in a country where the giftcards have been discontinued.

Thanks. I'm from the UK and can't seem to find it from a reputable source anywhere.

It's a personal thing but I much prefer paying for a year in advance so I don't have to think about it and weigh up the value every month. Plus the saving doesn't hurt either.

I know this is months later, but its a top hit on google for this and I've found you can get one at Argos or Currys for £120 - so a big jump up from the old £99 one on Amazon, but still saves you £30+ if you pay monthly

I’ve tried to purchase a £120 gift card from both Argos online and Currys online today - can’t seem to progress from the payment screen - I try to place the order but am told there is a problem and that I need to try again. Money’s not been taken.

I suspect that, as the option to pay annually for Spotify has been removed, that the annual gift cards have been phased out. It’s such a shame because it was much cheaper to pay for Spotify this way.

I won’t be renewing my premium subscription moving forwards. Goodbye playlists! I shall miss you! 😢
