premium free trial got canceled

hi everyone, two days ago I started a free 30-days trial of Spotify Premium and it worked fine until today, when my trial was canceled and I went back to Spotify free. I tried contacting the support but they said that they can't share more information with me and now they refuse to answer.
what did I do wrong? and can I do something about it, since I have the receipt of the "payment" of the free trial?

Here on the Community, we don’t have access to your account, but it sounds like your trial may have been discontinued because you’ve already taken advantage of the offer in the past.

That said, you can still start a regular Premium subscription if you’d like. Just head over to https://spotify.com/premium to get started.

the same thing just happened to me I got a 2 month trial went to cancel it later so I don’t get charged and they took it away

Здравствуйте. Оформил бесплатную подписку на 3 месяца, на следующий день она пропала. Я почитал в правилах сказано что если убрать карту для платежа, то бесплатная подписка премиум автоматически переходит на бесплатную версию. Но я не отвязывал свою банковскую карту, в чем причина и вернут ли мне премиум?

Spotify is joke of a company they send me email that I can rejoin Spotify premium 1 month for free and next day they cancel it, I would rather get youtube music then spotify as they can't be trusted anymore.

Hi, same thing happened to me. I got a promotion for a 4 month free spotify premium account and I signed up on July 16th and yesterday July 21st I got an email I had cancelled my account which I didnt do. On July 16th I got an email with the receipt, I also checked my back account where it shows when they verify. Thsi was my first time ever signing up for spotify since I had never used it before and wanted to try it out but I am seriously dissapointed since it was my first time and not even a week later they cancelled it. I try contacting support which the first person gave me an answer that was vague and closed the chat on me, I had to contact another advisor which told me the same thing with out any explanation as what happened, and then proceded to close the chat with out letting me speak anymore, to be hones I was also really dissapointed with the support they provided.

My account was deactivated as I arrived back from the Netherlands. I had created my account a few days before while using a mixture of computers located in the US because I was going to arrive back. A day after arriving, my account is now deactivated and no information was shared on what the reason is or even explain my situation.

Spotify locked account, customer service is useless

Today I was locked out of my account. It's a paid, premium account. Now, when I try to reset my password or log in, it says no account is associated with this email address.

When I try to recreate my account, it says my email address is already associated with an account.

I reached out to Spotify's utterly useless customer service chat. Who refused to do anything at all, and who could not tell me anything about what's going on.

I'm on the phone with my bank issuing a chargeback for my Spotify subscription as I type this.

Can anyone on here please assist? It is insane that I have to go on a public forum to beg for help.
