Hello. I also have the same problem with gift card codes. Xiaomi senr me codes for 4 month free spotify but both of them is not working upon redemption

I have same problem, just bought Xiaomi Earbus 8 lite and they offer to me code for 2 months of aces to premium service. I get the code but it is not accepted by spotify. What to do? Is it some scam from xiaomi or from spotify? Help please
