hello! i want to cancel my trial subscription but expect to have trial period benefits, but now it reads as "you'll lose your access to trial benefits immediately after cancelling the subscription"

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

Last year there was a change to how canceling zero-priced free trials works; now, Spotify users lose their Premium benefits immediately if they cancel a zero-priced free trial. This recent change applies globally, except for in Israel, Turkey and South Korea.

So unfortunately, yes, you'll lose your remaining Premium time if you cancel the trial.
