I got an offer when I opened the Spotify app for a free 3 month period of Spotify premium for a friend via link. i needed to ask my friends who didnt have premium already so I exited the app. it took a bit for a response but now that i have someone to give it to I can't find the offer anywhere. I have it so offers get sent through emails but I never received an email about this deal. now i am stuck with a friend who got excited to be ad free for a bit, and no premium to give lol. Thanks to whoever can help!

@comradereraccoon, you should be able to get the referral link here, just make sure that you've selected the correct country at the bottom of the page, otherwise you might get an error message that the page doesn't exist.

When I send someone 3 months for free, will I receive any months of premium for referring them?

It used to be I would receive 2 months free when they signed up, but now it doesn't say that.

So I assume that I won't receive anything for referring people anymore. Am I correct in thinking this???

We can confirm that the referral campaign doesn't include any additional benefits for the sender, but you get a chance to make a friend or a relative happy with a unique offer that would benefit them instead. You can refer as many people as you want!

In order for the referral link to work, their Spotify account has to be registered in the same country as yours, I'm afraid.

There was a notification on my screen once (when I was busy with something else, of course), I made a screenshot, but now can't find a way to get it. The notification said "Your referral link gives a friend 3 months of Premium - that means ad-free music listening, offline mode, and more.

Three months free is only for users who haven't tried Premium before; monthly subscription fees apply after. Your referral link expires if you cancel your subscription, and you'll need your friend's consent to send it. Three months free offer ends March 31, 2026. Terms apply."

- how do I find this link now? There was a button "SHARE YOUR LINK" when it showed up that only time.

Been trying to use the link but doesn’t seem to work as my friend who hasn’t bought premium isn’t able to use the link. Says he has, but he hasn’t. Just use’s the free version. Don’t know what else to do, shared the link and from there just doesn’t work. I still have premium too.

Any of your friends who haven't tried Premium before can make use of this offer as long as:

Their Spotify account is registered in the same country as yours.
The offer hasn’t expired.
You’re still a Premium subscriber when your friends redeem the offer.

Something that's worth checking is making sure you're using the "SHARE LINK" button to get the exact URL you'll be sending to your friend. When they click it, they’ll be taken to special page where they can sign up for the offer.

If they're still having trouble, you can ask them to share if they see any error messages on their end and we'll investigate further.
