What is the extra 2 dollar charge?

I saw a charge this month for an additional 2 dollars, does anyone know what this charge is for?

Could you let me know where you’re seeing this charge? It would be helpful if you could compare what your payment provider shows with what’s listed on your receipts page.

It’s possible this could be an authorization charge, which is common with free trials or special offers to confirm your payment method, and these are usually refunded. Alternatively, this could be a tax from your payment provider rather than from Spotify.

Lastly, I saw that you had poster a payment number, which is considered sensitive/personal info. Please do not share any of such info on here, since it is a public website 🙂
