Hulu/Spotify Deal

I received an email about how premium subscribers of Spotify can get Hulu for free. I already have a Hulu account, so would it be possible just to merge the two? Or would I just have to cancel my current Hulu and make a new one through the link in the Spotify email?

If you’re new to Hulu or already paying for a Hulu “Limited Commercials” plan, you're eligible to get Spotify Premium for Students, now with Hulu for $4.99 a month.

This is provided that you're an undergraduate student enrolled at a U.S. Title IV accredited college or university.
