topic Spotify - Play on Multiple Devices in Subscriptions

I've been a long time user of Spotify Premium. I've always used either hardwired or bluetooth speaks to play music from the app, so I could stream music in my office and living room at the same time with one offline. I've recently invested heavily in a sonos setup for both places - the only issue now is that I can't play different music in both places due to the subscription restrictions. I looked into the family membership, but that appears to only allow multiple account - not the ability to play from the same account on multiple devices.

I would gladly pay the $14.99 a month for the ability to do this, am I misunderstanding the family plan or is this not possible?

Hey @EatMoreLobsters, welcome to the Community!

It's not possible to use Spotify on two devices at the same time since Spotify is for personal use only.

You can use Spotify Connect to switch between your Sonos devices though. Just follow the steps listed here.

I hope that helps. 🙂
