Hello, I have a Premium for students account. I would like to listen on one device and have my wife listen on another device. Is that possible with this kind of an account or do I need to upgrade? Thanks

I'd love to help you here! On a single account only one device can stream at one time - this includes the Spotify Premium for Students deal. If you both live at the same address, you should have a look at the Spotify Premium for Families deal: 6 premium accounts for less than the price of two! Check it out at: https://spotify.com/family

It would be more expensive though, since I only pay $4.99 and family premium is 14.99. Unless, I am wrong about that.

Unfortunately, it would be slightly more costly, but otherwise it's not possible to stream from two devices with the one account. Your wife will rather have to:
a) create her own account, and pay for her own Premium, or
b) create her own account, and use Spotify Free
