Upgrade to premium for a month without losing old subscription that is no longer available?

Hi Spotify,

I'm on the old £5 a month rate that was only available for subscribers for the first few months when you started (I've been there from the beginning!) I'd like to upgrade to premium for a month but only if I'm able to downgrade back down to the subscription I'm currently on. Is that possible? I don't want to lose this subscription. Thank you

Thanks for reaching out.

As you've already mentioned, the Unlimited plan has been discontinued by Spotify a long time ago. This means that switching to Premium or cancelling your current subscription will result in not being able to go back to the Unlimited plan.
