topic New desktop interface is ugly in App & Features

I am never on forums or communities but I've reached the point where my frustration with spotify makes me use Apple Music so I will waste some time explaining that the new interface is so aesthetically unappealing even though nobody on Spotify cares about the user experience anymore (as evidenced by the iOS and android TikTok update).

Today I updated Spotify unfortunately and the clunky, box-like division of the two side bars with the in-between space now feeling more claustrophobic than ever, makes no sense. Visually, every update on the desktop app over the last 5 years has made the app less pleasant to the user, I refuse to believe the features that they so want to implement to make the user experience more functional could not be presented in a more aesthetically pleasing manner. Every app that copied spotify is now better to look at than the original, so good job! You're doing great! (I'm not going to delve into the fact that the features don't in fact make the app more usable either, from a functional pov, I keep getting the same 10 playlists and two genres recommended whereas before I would actually discover exciting music)

An example of how horrible the UI looks every time you start listening to a playlist:

The middle section becomes entirely unusable.

i completely agree with everyone mentioning the sidebar/your library stuff and playlist folder issues

however, this new update gets even worse. i cannot add more than 80 songs into a QUEUE. If i try to, it will delete the last added track from queue and replace it with the new one. This is highly annoying and infuriating, as i need to be able to have an unlimited queue that i can view all content in, especially if i am behind on a lot of releases from my followed artists (i follow over 1,000, but so far have only fully listened to about 200 discogs.) Speaking of artist discographies, i try to go through as many as i can by adding everything on the artist page to my Queue. Now it's almost impossible as I'm limited to a 80 song capping point. I use the unofficial Spotify client for Linux. Both Flatpak and Software Manager version have this terrible UI and Queue changes. it NEEDS to be reverted back.
