Spotify causing Sony Bravia TV to switch off

Similar to the Fire TV issues Spotify closes and switches off my Sony Bravia TV after 14 minutes. The model is XR65A84KU and purchased 3 months ago. The problem started about 6 days ago. I have tried the usual resets and clearing the cache etc but problem persists. I understand Spotify produced a fix for the Fire TV problem but mine still remains. I have to keep using the remote to prevent the TV switching off. Has anybody else got this issue.

Yes!!! It happened on my Sony XR55A90J with Google TV. After 15 minutes on it shuts the tv off

Glad I'm not the only one. I've shut off a few of the Eco settings to see if that helps (TV was also claiming that I hadn't interacted with it for 15 minutes and would shut down while I was gaming on HDMI 1)
