They run on ads, and it's a right thing on my opinion.

Their running cost must be higher and it shouldn't be paid by increasing Premium subscription rates.

I was on Free myself for awhile and all I can say now - paying customer.

But I sort of don't pay a dime. People who throw bottles pay for my Spotify.

I listen music, find and deposit bottles to get free money. Buy Spotify gift cards and we have ad free music for a while!

I understand the frustration...However, as vaajy said, they need to earn out of their business. I was also using free version of Spotify and also now a paying customer as I got frustrated with the Ads... If you listen to music all the time, it is worth getting premium subscription 🙂

I'm not against running ads, my problem is with getting 2min of ads every 2 songs....... anyways I just switch to Deezer and they run 30seg of ads every 3 songs, that's waayyyyy better!
