topic Android Auto and CarThing in App & Features

Car Thing requires it be plugged in to the auxiliary power outlet, BUT if I do that my phone automatically boots up Andoid Auto (which runs on google and controls all spotify, maps, calls, etc) and takes over my car screen. Android Auto is the only way for my phone (samsung s21) to be recognized by my car, but I usually connect via Bluetooth so my screen just runs the normal "Bluetooth Media" screen vs the full Android Auto experience. Okay. With all that out of the way, Android Auto runs the whole "hey spotify" thing, but it sucks and is a glitchy app. Will Car Thing override Android Auto, or will Car Thing not work at all because of my required app?
