App does not open

I used the app for years and all of a sudden it didn't open any longer. Deleted the app, enough free space on phone, phone new start, log out ...Tried it but no app. It blinks one time and all I'm looking at is the green logo 😞

Pleas help.

Have you deleted, the date forme the app?

You go in the app settings then you can reset the app.

I can't open the app. At first I deleted nothing. I deleted at the moment it didn't open anymore.

I have a similar problem. We just bought a new Android phone for my daughter and the app is not working anymore. We tried to disinstall it and download it again, but when we open it it stops at the green logo.

Hey guy's you have to look to be the original app not forme a Internet page. When the phone/network is slow it take a time. When is a issue by the router is you can open the port's. Normally is the problem not by the port's, check the settings forme the app the app need permissions like on the storage.

I tried several times from the app store. The problem was there all of a sudden after years of no problems.
How can i check when I can't open it? In overall app settings seems nothing wrong.

When you have a android or ios. I can only say how is workin on android....

You go on the system settings form the phone anyway. And go on your apps search for spotify..... and look at the permissions check all allowed to be secure is not this issue.

System settings frome your phone for the app you need to check. Not the settings frome spotify for spotify.

i mean:

Settings (is frome your phone a app. Not the settings frome the spotify app) -> apps -> there you finde the spotify app -> (my system in not English) i mean is calling permissions -> you have to allowing all permission to working spotify finely with all features.

The way is the way for android

You have check the permissions, delete the data from the app, and have reinstall the app original app frome apple/google store?

This are the fixes fore the app on your phone.

Check the firewall and the port's forme the router.

Check when is the issue the problem by the router is and try mobile data.

No idea what else to try. I read in reviews they dud an update the 13th of July and a lot more users are experiencing the same problem.

A bug at Spotify itself for Android users ...?

Are you beta tester? Exit it can by a solution, when is not working and you not beta tester you have to wait sorry.

In the TestFlight app, simply select Spotify Music and click "Stop Testing". This will immediately remove you from the Alpha and Beta program.
