the new update is so bad and not conducive to a good user experience— so much so that I made an account to express this. Who okay’d this??

Completely agree. I used the Recently Played section constantly. Now that it has been removed from the Home Tab altogether and every section with reasonably-sized icons has all now been replaced with these giant cards, it massively changes the functionality of the app for me into a very negative experience. What’s especially frustrating is that the giant cards on the Home tab now are a mix of albums I may have listened to in the last long while along with albums and playlists I’ve never listened to and have no interest in. This is awful. Please change it back. I’ve tried to use it in good faith and it is just awful awful awful.

100% agree, new interface is more like Instagram or FB needing to scroll through reels? I enjoyed having my daily mixes and recently played and recommended now I have large icons to sift through that are not relevant to listening. I hope this doesn’t become a permanent interface. Also out of a family premium package I’m the only account holder (whom uses it the most) that is being forced to use the new layout 🙁

I hate the new interface so much. I don't know if I will keep my Spotify subscription if they keep it this way. I love Spotify but this new social media/feed style homepage is so bad. Makes the app almost unusable. This post has the most comments and feedback so also comment there so hopefully Spotify takes notice.

I did the update on my wife and was shocked at what I saw. Does all this feed **bleep** have to be in Spotify now???
Completely confusing and you are slain by the videos.
I will not update any other devices until this is gone.
What are you thinking rolling this out without also making it turnable.
We pay your salaries and revenue!
Do you want us to switch to Apple, Deezer & Co?

I'm really annoyed and the whole family uses it via a family plan!
