What happened to invitations where premium uses could email an invite to a friend?

Hi there!

Invites are no longer needed to join Spotify. If your friends are in one of our launch countries (Finland, France, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, the UK, the US, Austria, Belgium and Switzerland) just direct them to our website where they can sign up.

Thanks but the invitations used to be for inviting friends to get spotify free. Is spotify free still available?

Absolutely--if you click on the "Get Spotify" tab above you can see that Spotify is available in either Premium, Unlimited or our Free Spotify version.

how cani invite a friend if they do not have a facebook account?

is there a means to do this?

No. An active Facebook account is required to use Spotify.
