How do you get an answer?

I have contacted support twice about being unable to get back onto my account and am yet to get an answer

Any ideas?

Customer support seems to be seriously lacking in some cases and I don't think this is a service I'll want to pay for in the future.

Hi,

Did you email in about a 410 error? If so, I have sent a reply to you.

The problem logging into Spotify can be fixed by playing a track from www.facebook.com/music - this opens Spotify and starts to play that track. After you have done this, you should be able to login to the Spotify application using your Facebook details.

But why can't I sign in directly, y'know, without going through the whole facebook music thing? It's irritating.

I am not sure why some users need to initally go via Facebook to login, but you should now be able to login to the application with your Facebook details. Perhaps the link between the accounts needs to be confirmed and going via www.facebook.com/music pairs the accounts.
