I have recommended Spotify to some friends but every time they try and open an account their postcode is stated as invalid. Any ideas why?

I too am having this problem. When I try to register for a premium account using the email menthod instead of Facebook, every time I input my postcode I get an error informing me it's invalid! I've tried with several real post codes and it's the same result every time.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm trying to get this set-up for my wife before she goes abroad this week, but I don't want her to have to login using my Facebook account details.

Hi Shijima,

Yes, it is a real pain. I don't have and do not want a Facebook account. If the other route is not available then Spotify should remove it. I am trying to get them a number of new subscribers but they ain't helping! Not much good at Customer Care.
