Problems with the 10 hour limit

Hi there.

Why is it impossible to me to listen to music when it's september 1st ?? Spotify says that I've already spent my 10 hour limit this month (september) which isn't true. Well, it can't be true because I haven't used Spotify for a whole week and that was in august !

I have a normal account and I don't pay - will this problem disappear soon ? It's a bit annoying ..

Hope that you'll understand my little problem 🙂

Hello there Camilla,

Welcome to the Community.

The 10 hours are actually split into 2.5 chunks per week. You should receive an additional set of hours soon!

It should update every seven days, I believe.

If you want to get rid of those limitations, just upgrade to Unlimited or Premium right here.

okay so I'll have to wait for seven days before I can listen to music again - I'm sorry but I don't get why it haven't updated today when it's the 1th of september and it's suppost to update every month. That doesn't make sense to me.

Cami - It depends when it last updated. It will update 7 days from the last time it updated - so if it updated last sunday, it would update tomorrow.

Hi David. I have spotify and am using various Apple macs with it. I was just browsing music today and had the 10 hour monthly limit pop up. I have hardly used spotify in the last few months. Very occasionaly I have but no where near 10 hours worth? What can I do about this?

That 10 hours is actually split into 2.5 hours each week. Would that be what caused the popup maybe?
