    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have spotify for a year now on my PC. &amp;nbsp;I recently got a new phone and tried to use the spotify app. &amp;nbsp;It would not take my password. &amp;nbsp;I tried to reset my password. &amp;nbsp;It said that it was reset. &amp;nbsp;Now I can't log into the phone or my PC. &amp;nbsp;I have tried to reset a few times now. &amp;nbsp;How can I fix this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It's worth doing a quick &lt;A href="https://www.spotify.com/help/faq/tech/clean-reinstallation-of-spotify/" target="_blank"&gt;clean reinstallation&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;on your PC. Then try signing in with that latest password update.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I did a quick clean and reinstallation. &amp;nbsp;It did not work? &amp;nbsp;My user name is my email address which I don't want to publish online. &amp;nbsp;It is the same address I have always had. &amp;nbsp;This issue seemed to start with my phone? &amp;nbsp;I deleted it of my phone until we could get it working. &amp;nbsp;Should I change my username? &amp;nbsp;I don't want to lose all the playlists I created.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I think I see the problem. You said this earlier:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"My username is my email address"&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When you are not using a Facebook login, you need to use a Spotify username. That cannot be an email address. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I won't post your full Spotify username here, but here's a hint: &lt;SPAN&gt;dxxxxxaxxxs&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you need more help, use the &lt;A href="https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/" target="_self"&gt;password reset form&lt;/A&gt;. It will quote your Spotify username.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
