topic Duplicate Account in Archived content

Hi there,

Months ago, I tried putting Spotify on my new computer (I had already downloaded Spotify onto my old computer and my iPhone as a paid user). But when I tried to set up this new instance of Spotify on my computer, it said I was entering my password incorrectly. I thought I had just forgotten my password, so I tried to recover it. The recovery process said that I would have adjust my Facebook settings. As a general rule, I don't link my accounts to Facebook, so I thought something was wrong, but I went ahead and went through the process. However, when I was done, none of my playlists transferred over, and when I looked at my account information it said I was using the free version. But I'm a paid user. I use Spotify paid on my phone. And I'm getting charged for it. I fear I may have created two accounts.

Although this happened a few months ago, I never fixed it because I usually just use Spotify on my phone. But now, I want to use my desktop client.

What can I do to get access to my paid account again? Also, I would really rather not hook my account up to my Facebook. If I can find a solution that returns me to my previous Spotify happiness, that would be great.

Thanks.
