I am not exactly sure what the Available Offline option means?

Hey there!

Welcome to the Community!

With Spotify Premium, you get the super-handy Offline mode. You decide which playlists you’d like to make sacred, and Spotify will sync the tracks to your computer or phone.

This means your favourite playlists will always be there for you, whether you’ve got access to the internet or not. Great news for travelling on planes and trains, or lazing on a beach.

You can also ‘Force Offline’ on your mobile phone at any time. Spotify will wave goodbye to the internet and go offline. Perfect if you’ve got a low battery or want to reduce internet use.

Offline mode allows you to sync tracks on up to three computers or mobiles phones at the same time. Each can sync a maximum of 3,333 tracks. Not 3,334, in case you were wondering.

one question to add to this. Do I have to force offline mode to make spotify not consume 3G data when playing an offlien playlist?? for example, I have my starred trachs as available offline. so when i play fro mthis playlist without turning on offline play for entire app is it cstil lconsuming data or once the track is added to a offlien playlist it will no longer consume data. Hope this makes sense
