Account hacked?

I believe that my Unlimited account may have been hacked. I got kicked out of my client in the middle of an album with the "incorrect username or password. error code 410" message.

I cannot log in to my account via the website either, and when I try and reset my password I get a message to say that my email address is not associated with a Spotify account. If I enter my username on this page, the site tells me it has sent reset instructions to my email address but I do not receive any emails. I think whoever has accessed my account has changed the email address, although no message was sent to my current email address to advise me that anything had been changed.

For info, I joined up befor ethe Facebook requirement, so I log in with a username rather than Facebook details.

My username is philrm. The email address for the account is pr.*****@live.co.uk (without the caps or parentheses of course).

Would appreciate some help, I did get in touch via the contact form but I am guessing that any replies will end up going to the hacker's email address.

Users that believe they've been hacked need to get in touch via the contact form ASAP.

If you believe the email address has been changed just select "Would you like to contact us before creating a Spotify account?". You can then email us from your preferred, safe email address.

Update: I can see you've already contacted us. You should receive a reply shortly.

Thanks for your response Meredith. I have emailed in twice, once through the contact form and once through the "Would you like to contact us before creating a Spotify account?" link, so there will be two messages from me.

I wasn't sure if either message had reached anybody, so thanks for confirming this for me.
