friends keep getting mails

People (including my mom) keep getting emails when I for example add tracks to one of my playlists.

At the bottom of these messages stand: "You are receiving this email because (my name) is sharing playlist updates with friends on Spotify."

I don't want people to get emails about what I'm doing on Spotify. How can I turn this off??

Welcome to the community 🙂

There seems to be an ongoing issue regarding these notification emails which is discussed here.

The quick work around is to untick the "Publish" button when you right click on your playlists.
