Cannot connect to spotify server

On my PC I get the 'There was a problem connecting to Spotify' Error, and on my iPhone I get the There was a problem communicating with Spotify. Some tracks couldnt be made available offline. Spotify will try again later'. I can still search for songs and play them, I just cant update any of my playlists. I assume this is a server error with Spotify otherwise it would be affecting either my PC or my iPhone, not both. I have tried reinstalls on my PC and my iPhone. Can someone help me please?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

I have seen several posts about these errors over the past few days.

Can you just double check that you do not have any security software running (also check your router) that might be interfering with Spotify's connections. Does this occur on the mobile network on your iPhone?

I have also added this topic to be escalated to the forum staff to look into.

Im running the same security (AVG) I have been running since I started using Spotify in July. It has been happening on my PC for a number of days, and around the same amount of time on my iPhone, on both Wifi and Mobile network. The fact it is happeneing on my PC, phone on wifi and phone on network says to me it isnt a problem on my end, otherwise it would be limited to one of my devices.

I am getting this message on my PC - and when I go to play a track Spotify freezes up and has to be shut down. It is working fine on my iPhone, however.
