How can I pay via Paypal without having a credit card?

I want to buy a premium account and have a paypal account with a verified bank account. Nevertheless I only have the option to add a credit card if I select to pay via paypal.

Problem is I do not own a credit card ... so what can I do?

Hi Federflug,

If you don't have a credit card connected to your PayPal account then you won't be able to use it to pay for Spotify.

However, users in the UK, France, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Finland can currently purchase Spotifiy gift cards in select stores.

Thanks for your reply.

Nevertheless that's not an option for me, because I live in austria, so I cannot buy gift cards. And a credit card will cost me a yearly fee which I won't pay just for spotify.

Then it seems that I cannot use spotify. Bad bad.

Any other ideas what I could do about that? Will you start selling gift cards in austria at some time?

At this time I can't say if or when gift cards will be available in Austria.

I recommend keeping an eye on our blog as any updates about gift cards will be posted here first.
