Playlist Gone!!!

All my playlist which were downloaded for offline use have disappeared from my account. People are gonna say about the duplicate account thing which is the bit that troubles me. Originally I used to login using my facebook login and it never required anything else. But now when I login its linked to a free account i setup a good while ago. So I am using two separate email addresses, but the one I always used to sign in which has my premium subscription doesnt have any of my playlist. What the hell is happening?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

It sounds like you have accidentally merged your Facebook log in with an old Spotify account.

I would suggest you contact the team directly using the online contact form and someone will be able to assist you 😉

hey thanks for the reply, i have got my playlists back by going to the activity log on facebook, but now the email address for my spotify account is the old one, i will do as you said, seems like the best way

You can change the email address for your account in your online profile 😉

I can yes but because my facebook email address is registered with the site it will not let me change my address to that one

EDIT: that also means there is no point in emailing them because the address it will send under is my old address which isnt an active email address anymore

Okay you have 2 options 😛

1. You can sign into your Facebook account from the Spotify webiste to edit your profile using the same link as before. In the email address field add .del to the end of the address, save and log out. Then sign in with your Spotify username and password and change the email address to the one you need.

2. Use the online contact form without a login to contact the team. They normally aim to reply within 48 hours. I would suggest you try method 1 first.

cant change my email from the facebook account, its set by my facebook, the old email address is for my old spotify account, i dont need that one. I will contact them with this contact form.

Hey all!

I am now having the same problem, I have been forced by the iPad app to merge a spotify account with my facebook account, and now I have lost ALL my playlists and subscriptions. Please help me!!

Hi,

I have the same problem I think. I have always just automatically signed in using my email address angel_merenia@hotmail.com and password. One day it said I had to log out and in again, and when I did it came up with a box as if I was making a new account (new to spotify or log in with account). So I clicked that and logged in with what I think was my spotify username but logging in all my playlists are gone.

I cant figure out how to log into my original account. I can find "myself" and follow so that way I can still listen to my songs, but its very annoying and would like to be able to log into the original one. I emailed using the contact form and the only reply I got was "look on the community page, the answer should be there", but I cant find the solution through all these threads......
