Spotify Premium - Black Keys stuck ON LOOP constantly!!

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with my Spotify Premium that's driving me completely insane... for the last month or so, every time I've tried to play a playlist or album, Spotify plays the first track from the list I've selected, then reverts back to playing the Black Keys album Brothers. Used to be one of my fav albums, now I NEVER WANT TO LISTEN TO IT AGAIN.

Just to clarify with an example - if I want to listen to Bob Marley's Collections, I can listen to the first track, then get taken to the Black Keys track 'Tighten Up'. I then click on the second Marley track, listen to it the whole way through, and again automatically get taken to Black Keys' 'Next Girl'. And so on.

The problem hasn't been occurring on my mobile, however I have had it happen on a different PC to mine.

Please please help me!!

That is a very strange issue, I have definitely never seen that one before!

I would suggest you try a clean reinstallation of the client first on your PC to see if that cures this.

Sounds to me like the playqueue problem:

Those Black keys songs are in your playqueue and can't be deleted.

That's why you can listen to 1 song but get redirected to the same old songs again because they are next in your playqueue.

Happens sometimes if you get a playlist from a link. Check your playqueue if that's the case (those songs appear grey in it).

There's a topic about that on the forum, can't find it atm.

The solution that worked for me:

Click on <next song> button fast till the playqueue is empty while repeat function is off. That clears it and you can listen normally again.
