Gifting Spotify Premium

I want to give my friend Spotify Premium for 6 days.. but I don't want to print it out or give it to him as an email. I only want the code, so I can write it down in a card. So I bought the subscription, and sent the email to myself. It gave me a link that says,

"To redeem your Spotify Code please log in or create your free account below"

I'm scared to log into my account with this, because I don't know whether it will give me the code to write in the card or automatically put the subscription on MY account. Does anyone know what will happen if I log in, or how to get the code?

However, we don't currently offer an e-card for 6 days. Did you mean 6 months?

Well, when recipients of the e-card get the email and click the link, does it automatically activate the 6-month period, or are they taken to a page and given a code that they can THEN type the code into?

Yes, when the receipent clicks the link it goes to their account automatically.

However, if you'd rather have a code put in your friend's card, just get in touch via the contact form.
