Spotify Gift Card question

Hi!

I Got a 12 month Spotify Premium Gift Card for Christmas, the problem is that I have had spotify premium by my internet company, Telia(see below). I cancelled it by Telia but I think i probably have paid for another mounth or two so its not cancelled on "my account" on spotify yet.

Since I cant see any end-date of the Telia subscription I dont know what happens if I enter my giftcard-code. And how long can i wait before activating it? been searching the website for 30minutes cant find it in any Terms anywhere. Can I wait like 3 mounths to use the gift card or will it expire?

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from their purchase date.
