Error 408 ipad

I downloaded spotify when I was in America and have arrived in Spain and it says error 408 how do I get my account working again please help .

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Have a read at this FAQ about error 408.

You normally get this error if your account country is set wrong in your online profile and you have been outside of your profile country for more than 14 days. I am assuming you are on Spotify free if you are getting this error. If so you will also need a premium subscription to use Spotify on your iPad, as free mobile radio is only available in the USA.
