Hi,

NUS extra never appealed to me, as I wouldn't use it often enough.

However, I've heard students get 50% off subscription and I'm an A level student (eligible for NUS). Must I purchase an NUS card or can I prove I am a student through a verified email from my college?

The Spotify student discount is through an official deal with NUS Extra, so you will need an NUS Extra card to claim the discount on Spotify.

That would be in breach of the terms of of offer as you are not an NUS extra card holder.
