Account hacked!!

My account was hacked today and I am unable to

A) login to my account

B) reset my password because the email account attached to my account has been changed

I have sent two help forms in but did not realize that they would be sent to whatever email is now attached to my account instead of my own.

I was also unable to post a message on the community board because I could not login to my account and I do not have FB so I had to creat this new account.

My account username is Joshcoh and I am looking for whatever help I can get. I would like to cancel my subscription or at least suspend it until I can get this resolved.

The email attached to THIS new account is the proper one and I would love a response.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form (using this link does not require a login and will allow you to enter the reply address) and they will be able to assist you further with this.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I have already submitted 3 online contact forms and have yet to receive a response.

I just tried replying to the automated email message so lets see what happens

Not happy about my account being hacked only a month after signing up for Spotify...

They did get back to me - however they sent me a reset token for Joshcoh85, and not my original username which is joshcoh - so I'm just waiting on that.

Obviously things got confusing because I wasn't able to access my original account and had to create this one to post on the message boards

Hopefully all will be fixed soon, thanks
