A question regarding premium e-card

Hello. If I understand correctly an e-card from here:

https://www.spotify.com/pl/get-spotify/e-card/

Is just a one-time premium for month. Right? So when I buy it for someone I won't get charged the next month when this premium ends, right? Because it's a one-month only premium, not a subscription.

If what I just wrote is true (is it?) then why can't I buy this one month premium with Paypal account which is not connected to any credit card? Why do I need a credit card to do one-way and one-time payment? That is just not right and doesn't make any sense.

I think it is just because Spotify need to confirm your details when you purchase the card 🙂

So if I don't have a credit card I can't buy myself a premium card? Well, if you don't want my money... 🙂

Spotify just started in Poland two days ago. I'll hope gift cards and premium cards will be available in retail stores soon cause I can't wait to get premium.
