when i scrobble certain songs and the tab that has Artist alot has two and three names in the artists tab. (ex. Usher, T.I.) which should only be one artists name in the tab who made the album. is there a way to fix that problem, because some of the tracks that i play which scrobble to my last.fm page end up using play counts of the other artist instead of the one that made the album.

Would you be able to post a link to your last.fm page?

Noticed this same problem recently, mostly happens when the track is not from a single or an album, instead from a collection album.

Attached pic for example.

Just tested this out using Avicii – I Could Be the One (Nicktim Radio Edit) [Avicii vs. Nicky Romero] which has Nicky Romero in the artist column too. By the looks of things this is down to how Spotify handles tracks, since each track has to be assigned to an individual artist and then album. Therefore even though this track contains Nicky Romero, the artist frield says Avicii since it appears on Avicii's album.

I have this problem too on multiple albums. One example is Hayley Westenra -- Hayley Westenra & Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & Ian Dean – Hayley Westenra: Pure, Hayley Westenra – Celtic Treasures and Hayley Westenra – Hushabye which list multiple artists often with the composer first which leads to incorrect scorbbles on last.fm. The album artist should be listed first in each track such as in Hayley Westenra – Odyssey and Hayley Westenra – Paradiso which scrobble correctly.

This is just one example, there are many others.

@JThorne - It's a tricky one to know where the issue lies. I would suggest you get in touch with the technical support team directly using the online contact form and they can investigate this a little closer for you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
