Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Spotify can only be used to sync local files which you already own to iPod classics, nanos and shuffles so if you have one of those devices that is why you are unable to sync Spotify catalogue content to that device. The main reason for this is the lack of a Spotify application for those devices which would be required to decode the Spotify tracks as well as keep track of play counts.

I would strongly suggest you have a read at this post from the community staff.

If you have an iPod touch, you just need to download the Spotify application from the app store and you will be good to go!

I upgraded to spotify premium but my iPod still won't sync with all of my files. Only my local files are syncing. I tryed ending my subscription and trying again but this did not work either. What do I do?
