Disconnected from Facebook

Hi!

I'm new to the forum so pardon me if I'm asking a question that's already been asked a hundred times. I have deactivated my FB account, so of course Spotify wont work under that email address. I created an account with a username and password, that's not linked to any FB page at all, but it's bone dry (no music). Is there any way to migrate my music and playlists from one account to the other? I thought I'd ask before I spend hours re-gathering music.

I just deleted my Facebook account, but had a different experience.

Try and login using the same e-mail address to Spotify anyway. The account may still be there, just not connected to facebook.

I deleted Facebook, then I went to my preferences in Spotify and "disconnected" it from my Facebook account. I was able to keep my account and use it as normal.

I don't think so... It just uses that mail as your login, whether it's connected to FB or not. Let me know if you get your music back.

Alandria if you find out the number for logging into spotify and set a password you can keep that other account

Michael,

Do you know how I can locate this number?? I went to my preferences, and did't see the Social> Disconnect option. Plus, I still see my FB display picture up in the corner. Does this mean its still connected to FB, even though that page isn't active? I'm so confused!

I'll let Michael answer... Apparently there are different types of accounts. Pre-Facebook integration and Post-Facebook integration.

Ok, so I found the number/Username that's associated with my old FB spotify account, but it's telling me to go back to FB to change the password. Is this correct? that seems counterproductive. It won't give me the option to change the password in spotify.
