how do i work the margin controls for the categories listed

in the old format, you could extend a margin to see all the musicians listed on a track

i cannot figure out how to see all the musicians on a track

help

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You can't resize the margins on the artist or album pages in the most recent client, and the text does not scroll meaning sometimes it is not possible to view the track name.

It has been reported as an issue with the most recent client over in the main feedback topic here (link to summary post). If you have any other feedback about this release, I would suggest you add it there 😉

part of the allure of this whole concept is the ability to cross reference musicians

should i get rid of the newest update and go back to the older version?

You can do so if you like, that is up to you!

You can unofficially roll back to the previous version and prevent it auto-updating by following the instructions here (windows) or here (mac).

If I go back to the old spotify, will all my music and playlists be lost?

Nope, your playlists are stored remotely by Spotify (as well as your account data). As long as you sign in using the same details you will be good to go 😉
