How to remove unauthorized content?

One of my albums has been added to spotify without my permission. I am the rights owner. I don't know who added it. I assume it was a former distributor...I need it to be removed. I at least need to know who to contact on the digital distribution side.

Hi there!

You would have to contact your record label/aggregator to have this removed. They are the only people that can submit music to Spotify, and as such are the only ones that can remove it.

I am not sure of any abuse email addresses, so I will also escalate this to the community staff 🙂

I just joined Spotify and signed on for the first time. I searched "satan adam," since I've been part of a blues duo called Satan and Adam for more than 25 years.

I was dismayed to find that Spotify is illegally making available the entire unabridged audiobook version of my 1998 memoir, MISTER SATAN'S APPRENTICE. I not only own copyright to the book, but I specifically own the rights to the audiobook, and I created and recorded this particular audiobook version myself. I have been distributing it solely through Tradebit.com, as a download, and never gave Spotify permission, through any direct or third-party mechanism, to distribute it.

So its presence on Spotify is completely unauthorized. I haven't the faintest idea how it ended up there. The only way, frankly, is that somebody else must have purchased it from Tradebit and uploaded it.

What is the best way of getting Spotify to remove it?

I have the same problem, and this is a bad link. It does not pull anything up. How do we get our unauthrized content removed. Do we need to consult

with attorneys?
