Sorry for the english reply.

Profile pictures on your Spotify profile are only available to people whose accounts are connected to Facebook, where the Spotify client will pull in your Facebook profile picture. It is not currently possible to upload a photo for your profile directly to Spotify although it has been discussed here.

Hey @xbarisx und @goldtones . Willkommen in der Community 🙂

Leider habt ihr recht. Momentan ist es nicht möglich, sein Profilbild zu wechseln (oder überhaupt eins zu haben, ohne über Facebook angemeldet zu sein). Ich möchte euch aber gerne auf eine Anfrage in unserem Ideen Board hinweisen, die genau dafür kämpft:

Der Status wurde zwar auf "Not right now" gesetzt, dennoch besteht große Hoffnung auf dieses Feature, wenn man den Rest der Meldung liest. Es scheint, als würde das definitiv umgesetzt werden wollen - jedoch nicht in unmittelbarer Zukunft, da derweil an anderen Features gearbeitet wird. Hinterlasst einfach eure Kudos und Kommentare unter dem von mir verlinkten Eintrag, um das ganze zu supporten und voranzutreiben 🙂

jetzt ist ja wieder ein bisschen Zeit vergangen, ist der Stand immer noch so? Kein Facebook bedeutet kein Profilbild?

Ein Profilbild einzubinden ist ein klacks. Wenn es das seit Jahren nicht gibt, dann aus gutem Grund. Spotify steht bei Facebook unter Vertrag. Die wollen eure Nutzerdaten wie jeder andere auch.

Ein muss man echt sagen, ich würde liebendgerne mein Profilbild ändern, dies geht ja bekanntlich nicht ohne Facebook. Nur so al Tipp, ich hasse Facebook, meiner Meinung nach ist diese Webseite total unnötig und ist komplte für den Arsch!

Hi,

I just ask me why i should buy a premium account if i can't even change my profile picture. Not eveybody wants to create a Facebook account, and i also don't understand why spotify increases the force of Facebook with such strange actions like only giving Facebook Users a profile picture.

I really hope that this function will be added also for non-Facebook-users.
