Can't redeem gift card, "504 gateway time-out".

Hey.

So i have a problem, i just bought a spotify gift card today for 100 sek (swedish money), and i was going to redeem it to get 1 month of spotify premium.

So i tried to redeem my code from my giftcard, but everytime i press redeem the page loads for 20 secs, then i get a page with just the message "504 Gateway time-out", and i have not recieved premium status on my account.

Is their any way to fix this at this moment? 'Cause since i paid for it i would like to enjoy premium from today..

Hi,

Due to the fact that from the sounds of things the Spotify servers are experiencing temporary technical difficulties, you will just have to wait until the servers are fixed. I apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, but they should be fixed soon. Your voucher lasts a while, so there is no need to panic or anything. Hopefully they will be fixed soon.

I'm experiencing the 504 right now when trying to access: https://www.spotify.com/se/account/overview/. Trying to buy spotify premium so it's in your interest to fix it asap.

Hi, and welcome to the Spotify community!

That link is working for me, have you tried a browser restart, or deleting the cache?

Btw I don't work for Spotify, hence my comment about 'from the sounds of things, Spotify are...', I don't know what's going on at Spotify, but given they're often quite predictable, I can certainly guess.

Hi,

Might be a bug with your countries spotify, as I'm in the UK so I don't know about /se.

There seem to be lots of bugs with the Spotify website today. Guessing the Spotify people are fiddling around with something to try and improve it, but breaking things along the way! Give it a bit of time, should sort itself out

Hey! Having the same problem here! I bought a 100 pesos (Im from Mexico) gift card andit gives me 504 Gateway Time-out.
