Spotify account hacked? My playlists are all gone and my email and date of birth have been changed.

I logged into Spotify this morning to find all of my playlists were gone, I tired to restart and that didn't help. I tried logging out and logging in through my Facebook (which I could) but no playlists still.

So, I checked my Account info to find someone else's email address and date of birth.

How would I be able to rest my account and get all my playlists back? I'm a Premium member.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Firstly, I would suggest you secure account, change your password as soon as possible and make sure your email address is set correctly on your online profile.

Next, get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you in restoring your account.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for the quick respone. But they changed my password so I am unable to change any of my settings because I have to verify the current password, which was changed by the hacker.
