Premium problems

I just got a premium account and the app says that I do not have premium. I am using an android phone. I tried the methods of logging in and out and also the uninstall reinstall. Noting is working and I am starting to get frustrated. Someone please help.

Hi, and welcome to the Spotify community!

To make sure you are premium, please go to your account settings and manage your subcriptions. It will display if you are indeed premium there.

Please note it does take up to an hour to activate your subscription in the servers.

It should say on spotify for computer 'Spotify Premium' if your account is fully activated.

The website says I have an active membership, but the computer app does not say that I have premium.
