topic Multiple Issues in Archived content

I am having issues with my spotify service. First and foremost, it's ridiculous that there is not a provided customer service number, particularly for premium members. For a pay-for "premium" service, a target response of 24 hours to a generic email is not acceptable. Let's say I'm not able to access the service or account, I get no help for a day? You hope? Or for instance the other day, I was not able to play anything because it said I was offline and needed to pay for premium content. 1) I was online 2) I pay for premium content.

For every single other service I am a part of, there is a way I can contact someone right then and there. To not provide this direct access or any reasonable customer service is a slap in the face to those that pay your bills. To top this off, the contact form link doesn't even work properly. I had a good laugh when that happened (to clarify, it was a "how pathetic" laugh not a "how humorous" laugh). It shows 504 Gateway Time-out when clicked on. I suppose this is a good way to keep from getting too many annoying emails from us pesky premium subscribers. Is there some sort of form I can fill out when your form is not working? Perhaps you could add a "The Contact Form didn't work" Form and paste the link next to the Contact Form. This brings me here to the forum as it is now the only means I have of contacting this company.

When I play Radio based on Starred, the selection of songs that comes up is very specific and doesn't reflect the entire make up of my starred at all. 100% of the songs played on my Starred Radio are Classic Rock songs. This genre makes up maybe 10% of my total starred playlist. Up until a week or two ago, Starred Radio would play all kinds of music. This is a minor issue, but very annoying given that I pay to use this service. I would like my Starred Radio to be more eclectic and shuffle bands/genres properly as it did about a week ago before this started. More annoying still is that there is no quick and easy way to ask anyone about this.

Other times when I go to play a radio station, if the playlist is large, the radio station loads incessantly and never plays. Why would that be?

Did Spotify remove the list of People/Friends? Is the only way to find Users and Friends now through a specific search of their name? I have a friend who I am not sure uses Spotify but I thought might appreciate a song I discovered. I don't have a way to find this friend. He is a facebook user, but does not show up in the Search.

It should be back soon

Try Last.fm for your music suggestions if you don't like the radio!

I think there is an idea to get the people/friends back where it was in the ideas section. To see facebook friends on spotify, go to the follow tab. It will show there, press refresh to show another 6.

Anthony 🙂

Hey Anthony! Thanks for the input

I agree, Spotify desperately needs a contact number.

The potential for the website/contact form to have a bug is perhaps further evidence this should not be the one and only form of contact between me and the company. I am sympathetic to small bugs like this, but not when this small bug burns the only bridge between me and a solution.

Thanks for the suggestion! May try last.fm. My issue is that I actually really liked Spotify Radio up until this started happening! Spotify Radio is a good portion of the reason I began paying for this service. To not have it work properly now makes me question if I should continue to do so.

I saw the Follow tab, but to scroll through hundreds of facebook friends 6 at a time isn't exactly practical - particularly when an easier way to do this used to be there and seems to have been taken away.
