Cant create account

Tried to create an account by email not Facebook. When clicking Sign-up button message says "Oops something went wrong".
Trying again says my Username/email are taken.
Resetting PW sends an email but link is showing message "Seems this took a while" and loops me back to email link.
Also tried a different email and username resulting in the same thing.

Username: RoZalatoR

I've seen a couple of posts saying this has happened to other people. I've already sent an email to Spotify contact support on the 10th of April but got no response. And again on the 14th. Received email confirming they got my call for help though.

Hey Jules,

Thanks for posting. We've done a little maintenance with that RoZalatoR account. If you use that username and the original password chosen at signup, that should now work fine.

Also, as a heads up for future reference, it's a little confusing but you need to reply back to the automated response you get when you create a case.

Hi!

I have the same problem when trying to create a new account. The page simply says "Sorry, something wasn't right.", but doesn't explain what. I've tried to sign up with e-mail all day. What can I do?

@RowenaB - Would it be possible to try a different browser at all?

Also, its worth going to the proper sign up page (link below) since the pop-up signup has given us issues in the past on the homepage.

Wondering, do you already have an account tied with the email address you are trying to signup with?

If its the same email address you use for logging into Facebook, you might already have an account with that email address.

No, it is not the same. I have tried a few different e-mail addresses as well. Actually I've changed every single part of that signup-form at least once.

Strange, it appears to be working fine for me.

Can you grab us a screenshot of the page and error?

I've had a little look on our system and it looks like you've successfully created the account with that username. Please try signing in with the username and password set during the creation process and you should be good to go 🙂

That's great.I tried to sign in with the two different passwords I tried. No success.

If you can't remember the password you set when you created the account, you can reset your password here. Let us know how you get on.

The error message on that page says: "The e-mail address you provided is not associated with an activve Spotify account". I tried all of them I used trying to create the account.

Did you sign up using the username "RowenaB" or something else?

Problem solved. I tried signing up again and now it worked. The problem was I had a space between words in my intended username. Funny the system couldn't identify the problem, I just happened to try differently this time. Thank you very much for your time and effort!

we have the family premium plan. im trying to sign up via facebook but im getting the oops something went wrong message. tried removing the app off of facebook multiple times and signing up with email. says email is taken but havent created an account. this is a serious issue and needs to be fixed. anything else to try. tried about everything. thanks.
