problem with Spotify automatically starting

My computer is tempermental, and Spotify slows it down. I'd really rather not have Spotify automatically start each time I start my computer. I know there's a setting for that somewhere, I just can't find it. Can anyone tell me where they hid that feature?

Try the steps outlined in this tutorial.

If you don't have the Preferences menu, then it sounds like you are using the web/desktop preview client, try downloading the full one from here.
