I have given up with Spotify software. It's useless. Here is my email to Support:

I cannot bear the lack of responsiveness from Spotify anymore. It can take 10 minutes to go from opening the software to being able to play a song. That's not what I pay £9.99 a month for. Napster and Rdio offer the same deal and less bloatware. Spotify has provided a fabulous service over the years, but your developers seem more interested in features than in music. I hope you can sort this out, but until you do (and offer me a free premium month so I can prove it!) I will be cancelling my subscription.

Hey there, hopefully you're finding the latest versions of Spotify to be a lot quicker loading/performing that some older versions we had some issues with.
