Free account problems

My free Spotify account has stopped filling up with 10 hours every month. Sometimes it works but suddenly it is warning that there's only, for example, 40 minutes left, but if I don't use the account for a couple of days it goes back to normal but only to quickly go down to only 40 minutes. Some help, please?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You actually get 2.5 hours allocated weekly rather than 1 massive 10 hour lump at the start of the month, so I am guessing that is why you might be seeing strange behaviour?

Oh, I had no idea you were given hours weekly. This might just be the solution! Still, they seem to disappear in such a vast paste, but maybe that's just me listening to too much music, haha.
