Sound quality?

I know this has been written about before, but I don't think there's been a thread touching on this as of late...

My sound quality, supposedly on the highest setting still sounds crappy to me. I'm an audiophile and this seriously bugs me. Do you have any plans to look into this further? Or at least add an equalizer so we can tweak sound ourselves? I am a premium subscriber btw.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

What device are you using? And what speakers/headset are you streaming through?

Spotify should sound good on all settings, but try making sure HQ streaming is enabled.

Try a Clean reinstallation of Spotify.

If you are on a desktop, you can use an application called equalify to add an equaliser to it.

There is an idea for an inbuilt equaliser here.
